BASIC PRINCIPLE OF RADAR:-  
RADAR STANDS FOR RADIO DETECTION AND RANGEING. THE NAME CONFERS THE BASIC FUNCTION OF RADAR.
    1)detect the object/target
     2) calculate the range of target

Maximum unambiguous Range:-
We have to calculate the maximum range of the target with out ambiguous.

Unambiguous Range:-
Maximum unambiguous Range (Rmax) is the greatest range to which a transmitted pulse can travel and came back to the radar to transmission of next pulse and produce reliable information. The relationship among the prf and Rmax decides the unambiguous range of the RADAR. The largest is the prf the shortest is the the maximum unambiguous range of the radar
The maximum unambiguous range of pulse radar can be calculated with the formula

Rmax   =  cr/2. = C/2(PRF)
WHERE C is the speed of the light (186,000milespx)
